• The Club room is used as the local polling station
• A good venue for children’s parties with the use of the Club Room, Play Area and grass field
• The Field is used for occasional rounders evenings and summer events
For community use
• Open 24 hours a day for use of the play area, tennis court, and grass surfaces. Where the field is booked out for an organized sport there may be restrictions on use.
• Used in the past for community events such as EH Arts Festival, village fete and the annual Flower and Crafts Show.
How do we maintain our facilities?
EH Parish Council provides a grant to help towards the grass cutting and general maintenance of the facilities and hire charges are received from Harptree Village Cricket Club and Chew Valley Football Club. Monies raised by EH Flower Show and the 100 Club are used to keep the Play Area tidy and to support the play area expenditure. Volunteers from the Village Hall Committee give their time at no charge to look after the maintenance of the Field and the Pavilion.
