A Warm Welcome to East Harptree Parish.
Hello, newcomers and village veterans alike. Welcome to your one-stop shop for everything East Harptree. From bell ringing and happenings at the village hall, down to the nitty gritty of drainage and road closures, you’ll find the latest information here. About the Village
East Harptree is a village and civil parish in Bath and North East Somerset, five miles north of Wells and 15 miles south of Bristol with a population of approximately 650. It sits on the northern slope of the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the Chew Valley and includes the hamlet of Coley.

East Harptree Parish Council
In non-pandemic times, the parish council meets on the third Tuesday of each month at The Theatre, East Harptree but it will continue to function virtually during these difficult times and any decisions will be recorded on this website. If you’d like to attend a virtual meeting or raise a matter, please contact the parish clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org .
An invitation with attendance details will be included on the agenda for the meeting, normally published on the Thursday before the meeting. Public participation is limited to 15 minutes.
The next parish council in June will be confirmed shortly and will be in the village hall.
