A Warm Welcome to East Harptree Parish.
Hello, newcomers and village veterans alike. Welcome to your one-stop shop for everything East Harptree. From bell ringing and happenings at the village hall, down to the nitty gritty of drainage and road closures, you’ll find the latest information here. We’ll be regularly updating the site, so please keep your information coming. If you’d like to add something, please contact our parish clerk or the administrator of the page you’re interested in.
About the Village
East Harptree is a village and civil parish in Bath and North East Somerset, five miles north of Wells and 15 miles south of Bristol with a population of approximately 650. It sits on the northern slope of the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the Chew Valley and includes the hamlet of Coley.

East Harptree Parish Council
The Parish Council meets on the third Tuesday of each month in The Theatre, East Harptree. During the pandemic, emergency legislation allowed us to meet virtually via Zoom, but this legislation ended on May 6th. Meetings must now be in person. If you would like more information please contact the parish clerk at email@example.com .
The agenda for the meeting will be published on the Thursday before the meeting, on the village noticeboard and this website. Public participation is limited to 15 minutes.
The next parish council meeting will now be Tuesday 16th November and will be in The Theatre, East Harptree, and we will continue with our monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. If you wish to discuss anything with us in the meantime, please email us via: firstname.lastname@example.org
